Deltasect 1000 ml
Deltasect is a suspension concentrate with insecticidal action, intended exclusively for professional use. The product is applied in cracks and crevices to control crawling insects such as cockroaches, ants, and other indoor insects.
The product is suitable for use in a variety of spaces, including homes, apartments, community centers, cinemas, barracks, hotels, restaurants, bars, canteens, hospitals, and industrial storage facilities. Use biocides safely: always read the label and product information before application.
Dosage and application
Apply using a low-pressure sprayer (hand sprayer or backpack sprayer), exclusively in cracks and crevices. Dilute the product in water in a ratio of 1:100 (50 ml of product to 5 liters of water per 100 m²). Apply the solution at a dosage of 1 liter of working solution per 20 m², with a maximum spray width of 0.1 meters. The product may be applied a maximum of 6 to 8 times per year, with a minimum repeat interval of 2 months. Use a suitable pump or spray device for application.
After use, containers must be thoroughly rinsed, preferably with an integrated pressurized rinsing system or by manually rinsing three times. Clean the spray device with a suitable cleaning agent and prevent rinse water from entering the sewer.
Do not apply in areas where animals are housed; animal exposure must be avoided.
Active substance and action
Deltasect contains 2.4% deltamethrin and is formulated as a suspension concentrate. Deltamethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid with a neurotoxic effect on insects upon contact or inhalation. It disrupts nerve conduction by keeping sodium channels open, leading to repeated nerve impulses and ultimately to the death of the insect within a few minutes to hours.
