From 1 July 2015, a certificate of professional competence is required for the use of this professional rodenticide. This is set out in the Plant Protection Products and Biocides Regulation, Article 6.6.d. The seller must verify this and must keep a sales record.

From 1 January 2023, farmers will be required to hold an IPM-KBA licence if they wish to continue controlling rodents (rats and mice) both inside and outside their farm buildings using rodenticides. Furthermore, the agricultural holding must be certified and listed in the register of the Pest Management Certification Scheme for Agricultural Holdings (KPMB). If farmers decide, in light of these additional requirements, to no longer apply rodenticides themselves, they may engage a professional pest control company that meets the specified requirements.
